Tracey Abbott serves as an executive coach and strategic advisor to C-suite leaders of private equity-backed organizations across a range of industries, including healthcare. She specializes in helping executives navigate high-stakes situations by subtracting complexity, adding clarity, and multiplying what matters most.
With experience in roles spanning Operating Partner, Chief Experience Officer, Talent Partner, Entrepreneur, and Board Member, Tracey brings a unique, multifaceted perspective to engagements, honed over a more than 20-year career. Her approach is rooted in the view that meaningful, purpose-driven impact is the best means of reaching and enhancing success.
Prior to FMG Leading, Tracey held a range of professional roles, including Senior Operating Partner and Talent Partner at Mubadala, a state-owned global investment firm with investments in retail healthcare chains; Senior Lead Operator at Partners Group, a global private markets firm; Owner/Operator of a Chick-Fil-A franchise; Executive Officer and Vice President of Strategic Planning at Foot Locker; and Case Team Leader at Bain & Company.
Tracey is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute, a Presidential Leadership Scholar, and an M.I.T. Entrepreneur Advisor. In addition to executive coaching and consulting, she serves as a keynote speaker for organizations and associations. She has sat on the boards of numerous organizations, including Dental Care Alliance, and was elected to serve as an Independent Director of a multi-unit medical spa business.
Tracey earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Wake Forest University and an M.B.A. in Finance from HEC Paris (Hautes Etudes Commerciales), which she completed in French. She also completed a Georgetown University program in Executive Leadership Coaching, certified by the International Coaching Federation, and is a certified Hogan Advanced Assessment administrator.
