Thomas Hegelund is a credentialed executive coach and former CEO who serves as an executive coach and strategic advisor to C-level leaders.
Prior to FMG, Thomas had over two decades of CEO-level experience. His operational leadership has spanned from early-stage companies to global corporations, including P&L responsibilities ranging from $10 million to over $100 million.
Thomas has dedicated most of his professional career to healthcare, and he possesses extensive experience in the sector.
Thomas brings extensive experience in M&A, having worked with a highly acquisitive strategic buyer who successfully completed over 100 acquisitions. Throughout his tenure in this role, he has developed a deep comprehension of the human capital challenges that emerge both before and after a deal is finalized.
Thomas holds master’s degrees in business administration & management from Henley Business School (UK), and in political science & government from the University of Copenhagen (Denmark). He has also served as a faculty member of business strategy at the Copenhagen Business School. Thomas is a certified executive coach through the Hudson Institute of Coaching, an accredited coach training program through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
