About

Dr. Noushin Bayat is a Senior Consultant at FMG Leading, a team of advisors that help clients build world class organizations by aligning business strategy with human capital performance. As an executive coach and human capital professional, Noushin thrives in leading and managing large-scale change projects, and partnering with senior executives and technical, business and functional teams to drive team effectiveness.

Noushin brings a depth of understanding on the role of thought in addressing complex systems challenges, and supports executives to engage clear thinking, build psychological agility, and improve presence to ensure effective collaboration and innovative business solutions. She has worked on change initiatives requiring the design of training and leadership development programs, scaling and operationalizing coaching deployment and developing agile solutions within a range of corporate environments. Her past clients include: Kaiser Permanente, Deloitte & Touche, Nestle, First 5 LA, and Gap Inc.

In addition to her role at FMG Leading, Noushin is the founder of Engaging Wisdom, Inc., a consultancy that provides coaching and organization development services in operations, change management, and leadership development. She speaks frequently on the “being” aspect of leadership vs. “doing” leadership and provides pro bono leadership coaching to community-based small business owners and their teams.

Noushin earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Communication from California State University, Dominguez Hills, a Master’s in Public Health from UCLA, a Master’s in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University. Her doctoral dissertation, titled, “Supporting leadership success in a complex global economy: best practices in executive coaching” focuses on the ways complex global systems impact not only leaders, but also operational and decision making, and how coaching best practices need to adapt to support leaders to thrive within this complexity.

Noushin is also a Visiting Industry Professor at Texas A&M University’s Department of Engineering, Technology, and Industrial Distribution, where she teaches a course on Personal Leadership Coaching in the Masters of Engineering & Technical Management (METM) program.

Personal
Noushin lives in Southern California with her family. When not working, she enjoys teaching yoga and meditation to at-risk communities, fostering rescued dogs and cats until they are ready for their forever homes, and still hasn’t gotten tired of sunset walks by the beach.
