Smita Srivastava

Senior Director

About

Throughout her career, Smita Srivastava has guided executives, sponsors, and their organizations through complex, multi-year transformations, building the enterprise change and adoption strategies that turn ambitious plans into measurable results. Her work spans industries including healthcare, financial services, and insur-tech.

Smita’s client work centers on the human dynamics that determine whether transformation succeeds: pre-deal cultural and organizational due diligence, post-acquisition integration, and the executive and sponsor advisory work required to rebuild coalitions and unblock stalled change. She integrates coaching directly into the change process—coaching executives and sponsors through transformation while building lasting coaching capability inside client organizations.

Smita leads with a human-centered philosophy rooted in humility, designing change around real stakeholder needs. Guided by a “progress over perfection” mindset, she anchors every engagement in data-driven, measurable outcomes—creating the psychological safety and sustained sponsorship that produce the strongest team results.

Most recently, Smita served as Head of Learning & Development for Zinnia, leading enterprise L&D operating-model redesign for a global insur-tech firm of roughly 3,000 through post-acquisition modernization and serving as an advisor to the CHRO and Finance leadership. Previously, she was Senior Director of Global People & Culture Capabilities at The Coca-Cola Company, where she owned capability transformation for more than 800 professionals across six regions. Earlier roles include Senior Consultant in Organization Transformation at Deloitte Consulting, and Senior Manager of People Strategy & Transformation at PwC, where she led the Workday HCM and Skills Cloud rollout across a network of more than 180,000 employees. She began her career at Tata Motors and PwC India.

Smita has represented The Coca-Cola Company as a conference speaker at UNLEASH 2024, presenting on human-centered design and experimentation for capability development as a Center of Excellence–led function, and was featured in a UNLEASH interview.

Smita earned her M.S. in Industrial-Organizational / Social Psychology from Illinois State University, her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Illinois University, and her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Mumbai. She holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources – International (SPHRi) credential from HRCI, is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) through iPEC, and holds a Change Management Certificate from the Association for Talent Development.

Smita lives in Atlanta with her husband. She brings a cross-cultural perspective to her work with leaders and teams around the world, and a love of travel that sharpens how she connects with diverse people. Outside work, she enjoys painting, creative writing, and experimental cooking.
